Evasi0n Exploit Patched?

We all knew it would come, the vulnerabilities used in "evasi0n", the only tool, excluding iH8Sn0w's "Sn0wbreeze", that uses an exploit known as the "evasi0n exploit".
It is currently the only currently known exploitable or exploited vulnerability used to jailbreak iOS 6.0 - 6.1.2

An interview with David "PlanetBeing" Wong with forbes is where he admitted Apple may have Patched up the Evad3r's exploit.

Here's the statement David ("PlanetBeing") made in the interview with forbes:
“If one of the vulnerabilities doesn’t work, evasi0n doesn’t work,” he says. “We could replace that part with a different vulnerability, but [Apple] will probably fix most if not all of the bugs we’ve used when 6.1.3 comes out.”
It may be disappointing but at least there ever was an exploit, at least there ever was a public jailbreak, it was a long wait for a working jailbreak.

But have hope, it's only a possibility. Nobody can guarantee it will be another old memory. Have hope my fellow jailbreakers!

Save Your SHSH blobs (as always recommended), and avoid updating to iOS 6.1.3

Do you think apple will patch up the Evasi0n exploit on the release of iOS 6.1.3? Leave your comments below

Auxo: Improved Multitasking

Another awesome tweak available to all jailbroken iDevices that improves iOS multitasking is A3Tweaks's "Auxo"
It has a simple and friendly UI and easy-to figure controls.
Not only improves Multitasking but it simplifies it and saves you some time with a hold of an icon.

A feature well known with Auxo is the preview of the apps running in the background, not just the icon.
This not only looks very cool, but reminds me every time I forget why I have that application open in the first place!
It happens to be a life-saver for me. Period.

Another time-saving feature is the "clear all multitasking".
Hold down one icon and a prompt appears, which you can turn off this prompt in its settings tab, if you would like to clear every application in the background.
You can clear an individual application from multitasking by pulling the app you don't want running in the background straight down.viola! It's gone!

What do you think about Auxo?

Cydia Reository Traffic

While many repositories on Cydia are operating fine, many repo's have had issues with traffic and updates so sudden with the enormous emout .

Since the Evasi0n Jailbreak was released, Numerous errors and logs were sent to tweak authors, The hosting repositories, and Jay "Saurik" Freeman Himself.

The Following appeared on the HomePage of Cydia February 6, 2013.
It was To all Users, hackers and Developers alike;

"Note: (as of 5AM PST/1 PM UTC)
Traffic from evasi0n has caused many
errors, and the onslaught is ongoing.
While Cydia itself is now fine (including
purchases), downloads and description
pages are all from third-parties. Cydia is
really just a "web browser for packages".
All third-party repositories are having
issues today; if you purchase a product
hosted by one of these, you may need to
retry the download (or come back later)."

Keep in mind, there has been a lot of traffic, there will be errors.

Have you had any Problems with Cydia lately?

Piracy Has Returned To iOS: vShare

Recently The hackulo.us repository on Cydia has closed, but piracy hasn't stopped on iOS, a new Cracked-app/pirated app-installer has arrived; vShare.
vShare is a "more organized, more effective, cheaper AppStore"
vShare is the newest "PirappStore"
Though a fraction of the apps aren't all displayed directly in English or with full English titles, that hasn't stopped many people from downloading it.

Though It  was Mainly obvious that piracy wouldn't Stop, The Switch and replacement for Installous came as a shock.
a very populated list or installous knock offs with
poor quality, and No update support, but not vShare.
It also has the Cracked app download option as Installous did.

Though The iJBNews Team is against piracy, we encourage you to tell us what you think about all this?
